Trio Robs Oregon RV Park at Gunpoint
Officials are looking for three people who robbed Emerald Valley RV Park south of Salem, Ore., on Wednesday morning (Feb. 2).
Marion County sheriff’s deputies went to the RV park in the 11,000 block of Hochspeier Road SE about 9:45 a.m., the Salem Statesman Journal reported
The manager said two men followed her into the office, showed her a gun and demanded cash, sheriff’s spokesman Don Thomson said. The suspects took money, shoved the woman to the ground and took the office phone so she couldn’t call police.
The woman saw a car pull up to the business and the suspects get in. Because of a delay in reporting the crime, deputies did not find the suspects, Thomson said.
No description of the driver of the car was available, but the suspects are described as white men in their 20s. One is 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with lanky build and shaggy hair who was carrying a black revolver and wearing a ski mask, dark jacket, jeans and black gloves.
The other suspect is 6 feet tall with lanky build who was wearing a ski mask, dark colored baseball cap, maroon long sleeve T shirt, jeans and black gloves.
The car is a faded black or primer colored older model sedan and the stolen phone is a Panasonic KX-TGA653.
Anyone with information on the robbery should call the sheriff’s office tip line at (503) 540-8079.
