Mary Smith, owner of Lost Lake Recreation Camp near Daleville, Ind., has agreed to pay a $330 civil penalty and to take other action to resolve violations alleged by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM), the Muncie Star Press reported.

Smith owns and operates a seasonal recreational camp with a public water supply system April through October.

IDEM alleges Smith failed to collect at least one routine total coliform sample from the water system during the second and third quarters of 2010, and failed to alert those served by the system of her omission.
