One mobile home was destroyed and two others were damaged Sunday night (May 8) when a fire broke out in a Sky Valley RV Park 50 miles east of Los Angeles.

Firefighters received the call just after 10:30 p.m. on Corkill Road, near Dillon Road. The first firefighters to get there found a mobile home engulfed in flames. The winds were pushing the flames to two nearby mobile homes, KPSP-T, Thousand Palms, reported

Crews had the fire under control in just under two hours. The mobile home where the fire started was destroyed and the two nearby ones were damaged. No one was home at the original mobile home and no families were displaced from the other two.

Firefighters were still trying to figure out the cause of the fire on Monday morning.
