Arizona Town Eyes RV Park Purchase
In Arizona, the Star Valley Town Council will continue discussions tonight (June 7) on purchasing an RV park adjacent to town hall, the Payson Roundup reported.
In April, Doug daCosta, the owner of the Lady D Ranch Apartments and RV Resort, discussed selling the two-acre park to the town, although no price was disclosed.
At the time, the council said it was excited about the opportunity to buy the park, given the site provides room for new facilities, including the possibility of a park. The parcel would also give the town ownership of a well, making the town a “water purveyor.”
Although daCosta would not state the asking price, Town Manager/Attorney Tim Grier said he had seen the price and it was high.
The council will discuss buying the park, at 3655 E. Highway 260, initially in executive session. The council is expected to make some announcement once convening the regular meeting afterward.
