Two people are dead after strong winds blew a tree down onto their trailer at a Sardis Lake campground in Mississippi, WTVA-TV, Tupelo, Miss., reported.

Panola County Emergency Management Director Daniel Cole says the bad weather came through before 3 p.m. Monday (June 13) at the Oak Grove campground.

It’s located on the lower end of the lake between Sardis and Batesville, about 50 miles south of Memphis, Tenn.

WMC-TV in Memphis reports the victims are 6-month-old Bell Lecompte and 74-year-old Mary Evelyn Brower. Brower is the baby’s great-grandmother.

One of them died at the campground. The other died at the hospital in Batesville.
