The event is being arranged by the California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CalARVC).

In this seminar, according to the current issue of CalARVC’s “Wednesday Morning Coffee Talk & Updates,” Crider will explain how to:

  • Determine what information is newsworthy for traditional media vs. social media.
  • Tap into ongoing statewide media opportunities.
  • Maintain tools critical to a public relation program.
  • Lay out a media plan for the rest of 2011 and into 2012.

Registration for the event begins at 1 p.m. CalARVC members may reserve space by clicking here.

In the past three years, with the advent of CalARVC’s PR program, CalARVC member parks have appeared in and on the New York Times, Washington Post, USA Today, Sunset Magazine, Motorhome, Trailer Life, NBC, CBS and ABC affiliates throughout California, top talk radio shows and literally hundreds of websites.

A park tour and dinner mixed will be held afterward and is co-sponsored by the Canyon RV Park and Airwave Adventurers.
