A pair of former Green Bay Packer football players were at a campground in Lake Dubay this past weekend to raise money for children’s charities, WAOW-TV, Wausau, Wis., reported.

Gilbert Brown and Santana Dotson were at Lake Dubay Shores Campground to benefit the Gilbert Brown Foundation.

This was Brown’s second time to the campground. The foundation raises money for more than a hundred different children’s charities and all the money stays right here in Wisconsin.

“Every summer, I’m on the road. When the campgrounds open up, I’m hitting and running,” Brown said. “It’s something special when you can do something for some kids, and you can make them smile. That’s all the reward I need.”

“We do a lot of events like this, this is my first time up in Lake Dubay, which is gorgeous, but we do a lot of work with the Wisconsin Campground Association, we have a good time,” Dotson said. “That’s our home away from home. ”
