Hoosier Resort Auction Draws 200 Bidders
Bledsoe’s Beach near Angola, Ind., went up on the auction block Thursday night (Aug. 11).
Hundreds of people packed into Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park for the auction.
The Bledsoe family first purchased the land back in 1919.
People got the chance to bid on single pieces of property– or they could bundle them.
Ninety acres were for sale including a golf course, an RV park and commercial sites.
Most of the bids were submitted in person, but people did have the option to submit bids online or by phone.
At last check, the bids for all 29 pieces of property came in at just over $4.9 million dollars
