Filmmaker Holod Promoting RV Lifestyle

Award-winning filmmaker John Holod will be on the road in September and October, as he travels Old Route 66 to make his latest film and promote the RVing lifestyle for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), the RVIA reported.

Holod is a veteran RVIA spokesman, who received RVIA’s Distinguished Achievement in RV Journalism award at Louisville in 2007. His travel films include RV trips in Alaska, the East Coast, the Gulf Coast, and Baja.

This fall, Holod will be traveling in a motorhome provided by Winnebago Industries Inc. The RV will serve as home, office and studio while he is on the road.

During his travels, Holod will conduct media interviews in local markets including Chicago, St. Louis, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Albuquerque and Los Angeles.

Holod will also create online videos promoting the RV lifestyle. He will end his tour at the 59th Annual California RV Show in Pomona, Calif., where he will conduct RV travel seminars.
