Some of the riders who will participate in a Poker Run for KOA Care Camps on Oct. 1 in New York.

The Hudson Valley/Catskill KOAs are sponsoring their first Fall Poker Run on Oct. 1 to benefit the KOA Care Camps.

The participating New York state KOA parks are Copake, Deer Park, Newburgh and Saugerties, according to a news release.

Registration is $50 and includes a continental breakfast at the Saugerties KOA donated by Walmart No. 2097. Lunch is donated at the waterfront River Station restaurant in Poughkeepsie and dinner at The Copake KOA with a chance to win $500 for the best poker hand.

Additional stops are The Deer Park KOA, Newburgh KOA and an optional stop at Woodstock Harley Davidson, which is offering a discount to all riders that day and door prizes for the evening festivities, which culminate with the live band “The Stoners” playing in the Copake KOA pavilion.

Special guest rider is Pat Hittmeier, COO of Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), who is flying in from Billings, Mont.
