'Real Housewives' Stop at Pillar Point RV Park
Three Class A motorhomes pulled into the Pillar Point RV Park at Half Moon Bay, Calif., last week and out stepped the cast of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
The Bravo network's popular reality show spent three days at the coastal RV park southwest of San Francisco shooting an episode that is scheduled to air next year, according to Terri Morey, park manager.
The "housewives" and their families were on an RV road trip, and show producers picked Pillar Point because of its access to the Pacific Ocean, Morey explained. They found the location on Google Maps, she added.
The three Class As, booked through the Camping World store in Vacaville, Calif., were camped in the center of the park from Sunday through Tuesday. Cast members were filmed at the beach, surfing, sitting around a campfire, eating and interacting with other campers, she said.
"I thought it went very smoothly," Morey said. "They were very professional. They didn't bother the customers. They were very organized."
In fact, some campers stood by and watched the filming.
