'Real Housewives' Visit California RV Park
East Coast met West Coast Monday (Aug. 29) when cast and crew of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" were spotted filming in various locations around Northern California's Half Moon Bay, including an RV park.
The New Jersey wives were reportedly seen shopping inside New Leaf Community Market, walking along Surfer's Beach, camping at Pillar Point RV Park, and eating dinner at Sam's Chowder House, The Half Moon Bay Review reported.
City Councilwoman Marina Fraser said she spotted the feisty, volatile cast of the Bravo network's hit show while she dined at Sam's.
"They looked cold in their sparkly, short cocktail dresses and Louboutin heels," she said. "They were set up at two long tables on the outside patio deck. Their husbands and families were with them."
Fraser said the regular diners watched through the windows as the scenes were shot, but that security was tight.
She said that, after weeks of fog, it turned out to be a lovely evening and she's happy to have Half Moon Bay featured on the show.
"One of the housewives stood up in a scene on the patio and said, ‘Here's to our last night in Half Moon Bay.' The weather was perfect, and I think that really showcases the Coastside in a nice light. I hope they don't cut out that scene!"
