From the Las Vegas Review-Journal:

Las Vegas police were investigating the killing of a woman near Lake Mohave today (Oct. 25).

Police said a woman was found shot to death about 9:15 a.m. at a campground at Six Mile Cove, east of Searchlight.

They said a man speaking Spanish flagged down another man and indicated his girlfriend or wife had been shot.

The second man called police, who responded to the scene.

Police said the first man also had head and chest injuries, but it’s unclear how he received his injuries.

The man was being airlifted to University Medical Center, where he will be interviewed by homicide detectives.
