Breakfast Kicks Off National RV Trade Show
Go RVing’s new “AWAY” national advertising campaign will be unveiled to the RV industry at the “Outlook 2012: Up & Away” program, kicking off the National RV Trade Show on Tuesday (Nov. 29) at 7:30 a.m. in the South Wing Mezzanine Level Ballroom of the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) in Louisville, Ky.
“AWAY,” the first all-new Go RVing campaign produced since 2005, returns to the emotion-driven, family focus of past campaigns while also placing emphasis on the affordability and accessibility of the RV lifestyle.
The four print ads and three television commercials will be introduced by Stan Richards, founder and creative principal of The Richards Group. His agency developed the new campaign in conjunction with an all-industry creative work group of the Go RVing Coalition.
The debut of the new ads is the finale of the Outlook program and culmination of a joint Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) Public Relations and Go RVing presentation titled “Away We Go!” Go RVing co-chairs Bob Olson and Tom Stinnett will team with RVIA Public Relations Committee Chairman B.J. Thompson and RVIA Vice President of Public Relations and Advertising James Ashurst in this fast-paced, multimedia report on 2011 accomplishments in the public relations and advertising arenas and new 2012 plans and strategies.
The presentation will also feature an appearance by SPEED Channel NASCAR racing analyst Rutledge Wood, who will share his tales of racing and RVing, and a performance by country music artist Chuck Wicks.
Hosted by RVIA Chairman of the Board Gregg Fore, the “Outlook 2012: Up & Away” program and breakfast are free for attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis. All National RV Trade Show attendees are welcome, and no reservations are necessary. Show badge registration will be available in the South Wing Lobby C Entrance prior to the event.
