One person has been flown to the Salt Lake City Burn Center after an explosion that rocked a Meridian, Idaho, neighborhood this morning (Nov. 17), KTVB-TV, Boise, reported.

At about 3:30 a.m., neighbors near Pennwood Street and Meridian Road were woken up as a fifth-wheel trailer exploded at the Boise Meridian RV Resort.

When police arrived, they found a man lying nearby the trailer with serious injuries. Worried that the home could catch fire, police moved the man and evacuated neighbors in the RV park and nearby apartment complex. Two fifth-wheels were damaged by fire.

The home did catch fire, but firefighters were able to put the fire out and keep it from spreading to nearby structures. Two other homes were damaged as a result of the explosion.

The fire department is helping the people displaced by the explosion. Investigators have not yet determined what caused the mobile home to explode.
