RV Park and Campground Briefs
From The Sierra Sun, Truckee:
The Donner Summit Area Association (DSAA) will hold a public meeting Sunday (Jan. 15) at the Donner Summit Public Utility District to discuss a proposed RV park in Soda Springs.
The property owner has applied for a Use Permit to establish the RV park on the property currently home to the Soda Springs General Store, Soda Springs Post Office, Castle Peak Vacation Rentals and Serene Lakes Realty as well as residents.
DSAA is holding the public meeting in order to facilitate discussion within the community and relay any follow up questions or comments to Nevada County planners. DSAA is a community organization representing rural communities along the Donner Summit Interstate 80 corridor, including Cisco Grove, Kingvale, Big Bend, Rainbow, Pla Vada, Palisades Lake, Soda Springs, Serene Lakes, The Cedars, Lake Mary, Sugar Bowl and Norden.
DSAA works to keep Donner Summit a special place to live, work and visit by addressing the issues of economic and environmental stability, development, and growth for the region.
