Florida/Alabama ARVC Announces May Conference Agenda
Sunny Daytona Beach is the stage for the Florida/Alabama ARVC Conference & Expo May 9-10. The event will be held at the Shores Resort & Spa, the only AAA Four-Diamond luxury beachfront hotel in Daytona Beach
Silvana Clark will deliver the keynote address at the Wednesday luncheon. Other spacers on Wednesday include Jeff Sims with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), who will provide an ARVC update at the association’s annual meeting; Carol and William Weideman, who will discuss how recycling electricity can save parks money; and Jeff Crider, who will show owners how to make their parks newsworthy.
The trade show will be open from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Supplier sponsors thus far are Visit Florida and Evergreen USA.
The trade show resumes Thursday morning.
Afternoon speakers are Clark, who will discuss managing millennials as employees, and William L. Clark, who will discuss federal labor laws in Florida.
The Florida/Alabama ARVC board will meet the afternoon prior to the conference.
