An RV fire leaves a retired couple without a home Saturday (March 10), KFDA-TV, Amarillo, Texas, reported.

Around 4:30 p.m., Amarillo fire crews were called to the RV park, south of Thompson park at 24th and I-287.

The Neumar Mountain Air road coach was having engine problems. The couple pulled in the park when their door locks would not let them get out of the coach. A passerby told them the back of the RV was on fire. Now, it is a total loss but the couple escaped through a back window.

It was valued around $170,000. The couple is OK and an investigation is underway.
