The first phase of a new campground at the County ZZ curve heads to the Liberty Grove Town Board for its approval tonight.
The board meets at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall.
Patrick Hockers has submitted an application for a conditional use permit to build the campground, which would start with 133 sites and a bathhouse. Phase 2 would add 144 campsites, and another 128 sites would come with Phase 3, according to a site plan reviewed by the town Plan Commission last week.
The property is at the northwest corner of the convergence of County ZZ, Appleport Road and Robin Lane.
The commission voted to support Hockers’ application.
