The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a prospectus for a concessions business opportunity at Otter Creek, along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. This prospectus is seeking offers for a 10-year concession contract to provide camping, food and beverage and retail services at Otter Creek.

The concessions business opportunity at Otter Creek, located at Parkway Milepost 60.8, near Buchanan, Va., includes a restaurant, gift shop and 69-site campground. The campground has sites for 42 tents and 26 trailers.

A prospectus describing the business opportunity and the terms and conditions of the concession contracts is available on the NPS website at

To request a hard copy of the prospectus to be delivered via Federal Express, send a check for $50, payable to the National Park Service, to Mark Morgan, commercial services specialist, National Park Service, Southeast Regional Office, AFC, 1924 Building, 100 Alabama Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30303. Please include a physical address (no post office box) and telephone number. You may also pick up a printed copy at the Superintendent’s Office at Blue Ridge Parkway Headquarters for $45 (checks only). No telephone requests for the prospectuses will be honored.

A site visit to view the facilities is scheduled for Friday, June 1.
