Chi-Lan Lieu reprises her popular tour of the RV show in Hershey, Pa., during the Travel Channel's marathon RV programming on May 20

The Travel Channel network is set to broadcast a 7-hour homage to recreational vehicles on Sunday, May 20, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. This mammoth block of programming will showcase a variety of RV’s from kickass custom built overland expedition vehicles and gargantuan celebrity honeywagons to outlandish RV conversions and vintage travel trailers, reported.

Travel Channel RV program line-up:

9 a.m. “Radical Rides” – The Ultimate Travel series tours America in search of the most cutting-edge and head-turning recreational vehicles. According to the Travel Channel blurb the episode is “packed with great characters, adrenaline-fueled action, unique vehicles and amazing locations.” The episode features the best-selling EarthRoamer XV-LT – which made the RVing Examiner’s list of the world’s best overland expedition vehicles – so you can rest assured that you won’t be disappointed.

10 a.m. “RV 2011” – Host Chi-Lan Lieu checks out a variety of coaches, trailers and toy haulers at the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Show RV which is held annually in Hershey, Pa. The ultra light camping trailer was designed by Ted Harris, the former chief design engineer for Fleetwood Folding Trailers (FTCA).

11 a.m. “Tricked Out Trailers” – Don’t be fooled by the title of this episode because nearly all of the rigs featured are actually motorhomes and not travel trailers – the exceptions are a Ron Anderson mobile estate and a Timeless Travel Trailers restoration of an Airstream. The show also features a GXV Safari overland expedition vehicle; John and Julie Giljam’s amphibious CAMI Terra Wind Class A; a Prevost-based Millennium Luxury Coach; Eagle One – a tricked out triple-slide Forest River Class A motorhome; and a Prevost luxury coach operated by Whites Creek, Tenn.-based Diamond Coach.

12 p.m. “Killer RV Upgrades” – Features two killer overland expedition vehicles; Greg Cuthbert’s ShaChaGra and Jay Shapiro’s EcoRoamer and a variety of additional rigs that will have you laughing and drooling in equal measure. Check out the Cooperative Motor Works refit of a GMC moho; Walter The Bus – an oversize VW T1 replica based on a 1963 Walter Truck Co. CF model fire truck; the HMS Desert Queen school bus conversion; Rick Dobbertin’s futuristic Surface Orbiter – based on a 1959 Heil stainless steel milk tanker; Jim Kossivas’ budget 4-berth RV based on a GMC bus; and Daniel C. Robbins’ 1990 UMC Aeromaster stepvan RV artcar – the SSN SpaMarine.

1 p.m. “Extreme RV’s” – Showcases a two-story Ron Anderson mobile estate leased by X Factor creator Simon Cowell, a badass two-bedroom toterhome from Showhauler, and a NASA inspired travel trailer of the future…the Cricket.

2 p.m. “Extreme RV’s” – The episode features a luxury Featherlite Vantare motorhome, a GXV global expedition vehicle, and a stunning Flyte Camp ’47 Westwood travel trailer restoration.

3 p.m. “Extreme RV’s” –Takes a tour of a Hemphill Brothers Prevost XL-II coach, peeks inside a Creative Mobile Interiors (CMI) Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and examines the mobile homes manufactured by the inimitable Tumbleweed Tiny House Co.

The 7-hour RV marathon will also air on the Travel Channel’s HD channel from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
