Eagles Hot Lake RV Park Hosts Northwood Mfg. Rally
Welcoming campfires were blazing at the Eagles Hot Lake RV Park in picturesque La Grande, Ore., home of Northwood Manufacturing Inc. and site of the annual owners rally.
The rally is organized each year by the Northwood RV Owners Association (NROA ) and all members are welcome. This year 68 units with 140 people attended the rally from as far away as Florida and the Canadian provinces, according to a news release.
They come together each year for organized events and free time. Fun activities (golfing, wine tasting, sightseeing and pot lucks) are intermixed with the in-plant tours (a chance to witness how Northwood achieves and maintains their industry leading quality) and supplier seminars to help the owners maintain and maximize their current Northwood product, according to the release. Northwood assigns a team of technicians to visit the campground and help the owners with product concerns that may have arisen. Northwood displayed several new models for review which will be landing at local dealerships this summer.
National Director of Sales Donald Cochran noted, “Ron Nash and the La Grande community are the heart of what we do. Having our customers join us here at the plant is such a positive for everyone. Our customers get to see firsthand the people, materials and processes we use to build the highest quality towable products in the industry. Our people have an opportunity to get to know our customers and their priorities. And it also brings business to our local economy, further supporting our people and our community.”
Northwood Manufacturing, known for its customer-intimate approach to business, looks forward to this event.
Ward King, Northwood COO, told attendees, “Northwood Manufacturing truly values this organization of fine people. We value you for your ideas and input as much as for your business and loyalty. These rallies offer a great insight into what is important to our customer. We are as committed to remaining accessible to you our customers as we are to maintaining the culture of quality Ron Nash instilled in us.”
Cochran added, “The commitment to quality is unwavering and our ‘Absolute Northwood’ philosophy is our guarantee of unmatched quality, strength, and durability. ”
The rally culminated with a Northwood hosted barbecue luncheon with Northwood staff and executives mingling with the owners. In a show of appreciation, the executives conduct a raffle in which every attending RV was assured of winning an RV related prize. Every number is then reentered for a chance to win two grand prizes.
