Herzogs Draw Media Interest During National Tour
The National Explore America Family is driving their way through their 13th annual RV spokesperson tour for the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA), winding through America’s Midwest and Southwest and generating positive media coverage in the process.
After setting out from Chicago in early June in a Winnebago Via motorhome, Brad and Amy Herzog have been featured in local TV and newspaper stories in 13 media markets, including Kansas City, Memphis, Albuquerque and Des Moines. They are expected to visit 22 media markets in 18 states during the tour with stops in Minneapolis and Chicago remaining, according to an RVIA news release.
During interviews, the Herzogs talk about their passion for RVing which coincides with RVIA’s message that RVing is not only family friendly but eco and budget friendly as well.
The Herzogs also discuss the freedom they feel when traveling by RV. “We have been to 48 states and never run out of things to see,” Brad told Oklahoma’s Fox 25 Morning News. “It’s like a big, huge, windshield movie of America unfolding in front of you and time you want you can pause the film and enter the picture.”
In addition to the media interviews, Herzog also posts updates to his Go RVing travel blog “You Are Here” while on the road.
