The Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) has launched a 2 millionth visitor contest, which will award the winner over 50 free camping certificates good for the entire 2013 camping season. These certificates are valid for one night of camping at participating Pennsylvania campgrounds and have a value of $2,500, according to a news release.

Jason Vaughan, vice president and chairman of the PCOA marketing committee, said, “We are delighted to offer an opportunity like this to the camping public. As we are nearing the 2 millionth visitor mark to it seemed like a great way to celebrate this benchmark and to thank those camping families who have visited our website. To enter simply visit our website and enter your information. While the 2 millionth visitor will win some great camping nights, all entries to the contest will automatically be entered into a drawing for one of 10 consolation prices with a value of $100 each.”

The 2 millionth visitor to will receive one free night’s camping from the following Pennsylvania campgrounds who are co-sponsoring the contest:

  • Western Pennsylvania campgrounds include Harecreek Campground, Corry; Presque Isle Passage RV Park and Cabin Rentals, Fairview, Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest, Harrisville, Kalyumet Campground, Lucinda; Meadville KOA, Meadville; Rose Point Park Cabins and Camping, New Castle; Whispering Winds Campground, Sheffield, Shenango Valley RV Park, Transfer; Benner’s Meadow Run Camping & Cabins, Farmington; Farma Family Campground, Greenville; and Wheel in Campground, Shelocta.
  • North Central campgrounds offering one-night stays to the winner are Indian Head Campground, Bloomsburg; Allegheny River Campground, Roulette, and Seven Mountain Campground, Spring Mills. South Central Pa campgrounds co-sponsoring the event are Western Village RV Park, Carlisle; Drummer Boy Camping Resort, Gettysburg; Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg; Granite Hill Camping Resort, Gettysburg; Hershey Highmeadow Campground, Hershey; Pleasant Hills Campground, Hesston; Paradise Stream Family Campground, Loysville; Buttonwood Campground, Mexico; and Dogwood Acres Campground, Newville.
  • Northeastern  campgrounds are Evergreen Lake Campground, Bath; WT Family Campground, Blakeslee; Mountain Vista Campground; East Stroudsburg; Otter Lake Camp Resort, East Stroudsburg, Honesdale Pocono KOA, Honesdale, Clayton Park Recreational Area, Lake Ariel; Three Pines Campground, Lakeville; Don Laine Campground, Palmerton, Silver Valley Campsites, Saylorsburg; Hemlock Campground and Cottages, Tobyhanna; Keen Lake Camping & Cottage Resort, Waymart; and Sandy Valley Campground, White Haven.
  • Southeastern campgrounds include Hickory Run Family Campground, Denver; Warwick Woods Family Camping Resort, Elverson; Old Mill Stream Campground, Lancaster; Pinch Pond Campground and RV Park, Manheim; Red Run Campground, New Holland; and Echo Valley Campground, Tremont.

The Pennsylvania Campground Association is a non-profit trade association representing the RV parks and campgrounds in Pennsylvania. Each member campground is individually owned and operated.
