Arrowhead Resort Campground’s plan to upgrade camping sites on its property got the go-ahead from the town board of Lyndon, Wis., wiscnews.com reported.

General Engineering Vice President/Project Manager Brad Boettcher said the resort would add approximately 40 seasonal sites in an area which is currently used for primitive camping. He said the annual sites would be used by RVs for either the summer or spring, summer and fall.

Arrowhead currently has 298 sites on property.

Boettcher said changes will require the addition of sewer, water and electric which will require permits from the state. He said the road connecting the site will be gravel and will not be paved.

Chairman Pat Mitchell asked about the size of the allotments and whether fire pits would be close to the woods.

Boettcher said the sites are 50 feet by 70 feet and have space of space for an RV, picnic table and fire ring.

Mitchell said Jack Roloff, zoning administrator, reviewed and gave a positive report.

Treasurer Jerome Wilke said it is nice to see things are going well and the business is able to expand.

Mitchell congratulated the business on keeping Arrowhead Road clean and said the road used to be very bad years ago.
