Most of Mid-Michigan is familiar with the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant.

Earlier this year, they added an indoor water park and hotel — now there’s Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park, WNEM-TV, Saginaw, reported.

“We are very excited to be offering another piece to our family funcation destination,” said Bonnie Sprague, the general manager of the Soaring Eagle Water Park & Hotel Properties

The park has 67 camping lots, each with electric, water, sewer hook-up, Wi-Fi, clubhouse and even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

“We have it all here. It’s a destination. You can come here, you can enjoy the water park. Go to the casino for some nighttime entertainment, come here to relax with your families if you just want the quiet time,” said Sprague

The park has a 25-acre lake stocked with fish for the fishermen and women.

Canoe, kayak, and paddle boats are available, as well as walking trails and a clubhouse that’s an Alden B. Dow structure, something you don’t see very often at an RV park.

Now that the Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park is up and open for business, it give folks another place to stay when they come to Mid-Michigan. You can enjoy the water parks, the casinos, the shopping, the golf, but most importantly, it brings jobs to the community.

“Our water park employs over 353 employees, that includes the RV park staffing as well,” said Sprague

The campers say they hit a jackpot here.

“A diamond in the rough, it’s very, very nice,” said camper Diane Cadarette, “It’s a work in progress. A beautiful park, the clubhouse is actually gorgeous. We’ll be back, no question.”
