Jumping Pillows Announces New Distributor
Camping Scene, a company based in Tennessee, has secured the sole rights, including naming rights, of Jumping Pillows throughout U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America.
The original Jumping Pillow was designed and manufactured in Denmark and has sold over 7,000 in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, according to a news release.
“We are extremely happy to have been contacted by Denmark to take over the distribution of the jumping pillow product starting immediately,” said Con Elfes, a spokesman for Camping Scene. “We know the product has great appeal to the campground industry and our intention is to produce the exact same product and sell it to campgrounds at a realistic price. We are looking at packaging a Jumping Pillow and a shade structure together at a most competitive and affordable price.”
Camping Scene, a relatively new company, currently sells Hideaway Huts, positioned in the market between tents and park models along with a range of inflatable products.
“We have tackled issues such as installation, finance and insurance head on and believe we have come up with a system and product that is far better than ever seen before in the industry,” Elfes continued. “Every shade structure sold to go over the Jumping Pillow will include a surveillance camera as part of the purchase price and we believe this will go a long way with negating many insurance claims and we expect that alone will help reduce campground insurance fees.”
Tage Gammelgaard from Jumping Pillows in Denmark said, “The management of our new distributor at Camping Scene has showed us that they have a great system in place and we here, at the place of the original Jumping Pillow, are elated to appoint an honest reliable company to sell the product in the U.S.A. and Canada and join our worldwide network of pillow distributors. The tried and proven pillow manufactured here in Denmark will be the one sold by Camping Scene and the same material used by our previous distributor. The Jumping Pillow name is registered in the U.S.A. and part of our agreement with Camping Scene is that they alone have the sole right to use that product name.”
Gammelgaard along with the Australian Distributor of Jumping Pillows, Connie Skibicki, are planning to attend conventions for Campgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) and the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) to be held in November and participate on the Camping Scene booth.
Elfes concluded, “We think campground owners will be elated at our pricing structure which brings the Jumping Pillow, now a must for any campground, into the realms of affordability.”
