The Midnight Fire in New Mexico is now about 429 acres. Crews have not been able to contain it at all because of high wind and steep terrain. The U.S. Forest Service is hopeful colder weather will help suppress the fire. The McCrystal and Cimarron campgrounds were evacuated as a precaution.
