Good Sam Enterprises LLC announced that it has extended its partnership agreement with the QBE Group through 2017 to provide customers with a unique RV-mechanical breakdown insurance product.

Good Sam Extended Service Plan has been a partner with QBE since 1999, offering customers both financial protection in the event of a mechanical breakdown or failure, as well as expert claims administration leveraging the World's Largest RV Repair Network, according to a news release.

Years in the making, the new Preferred Provider Network offers trusted partnership with Good Sam, helps match problems to the right repair facility, accepts direct payment from Good Sam for covered repairs, and includes facilities that stand behind their work.

Commenting on the partnership agreement signed with QBE, Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam, said, "I am very pleased with our continued partnership with QBE Insurance, which will provide customers with exceptional value and coverage available in the marketplace."

"It's really the final piece of the mechanical breakdown services package — including Good Sam Roadside Assistance and our Extended Service Plan — that Good Sam Club offers, and lets us work with our members to ensure that everything is taken care of correctly, from the initial call to the final bill," remarked Scott Blanc, Vice President and General Manager, regarding the Preferred Provider Network. "We wanted to ensure, first of all, that we could direct our members to a repair facility that was capable of taking care of their specific issue, but secondly, that we could direct the customers to people that we had a relationship with, that we trusted and knew would perform the work properly and understand what they were doing."

"After positive customer feedback and reviewing customer satisfaction levels it made sense to extend our partnership," Lemonis said of the collaboration. "Good Sam management and Good Sam customers demand the highest customer service levels in the industry and QBE shares a similar philosophy and focus on quality customer service. Together we will continue to reach 100% customer satisfaction."

Benefits of the Good Sam Extended Service Plan include full-service claims administration, sign and drive repair, customized payment plans, and travel reimbursement. Vehicles covered include motorized RVs, fifth-wheels, travel trailers, cars, trucks, SUVs as well as pop-up and truck campers. Good Sam Extended Service plan customers can also visit any Camping World SuperCenter for a free 22-point RV inspection.

The Good Sam Repair Network currently numbers more than 10,000 providers nationwide, including 1,000 preferred providers and 100 Camping World locations — but the majority of the network's participants also provide club members a 10% discount "whether it's on a covered repair or not." And, all preferred providers warrant their work for a full 90 days.
