According to a report by Evanston Now, the bakery had been scheduled to close Monday (Dec. 24) because owner Rose O’Carroll’s lack of $104,000 to keep the business open. KENTUCKY From The Paducah Sun: Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area (LBL) will have to cut $1 million from its annual operating budget to comply with the U.S. Forest Service’s reduction in budgets for all national facilities. When the Forest Service announced the cuts in February, LBL saw a 37.5% cut, amounting to a loss of $800,000 from annual upkeep funding.
