Bergquist’s new propane dispenser. The company has sold directly to campgrounds in the past. However it now prefers to sell through its normal distribution of propane retailers.

Bergquist Inc. announced the launch of its new Propane Autogas Dispenser today (March 12) at the Midwest Propane Gas Convention in Indianapolis, Ind.

The fleet-fuel based dispenser has been redesigned with a smooth-finished, aluminum cabinet to provide a more retail appearance. The dispenser also comes with the option of a customized 2-footby-3-foot decal allowing for any branding initiatives, according to a news release.

“Our latest Autogas Dispenser is built with the same quality component parts, careful assembly, calibration and testing as previous versions. We’ve continued the tradition of designing all Bergquist dispensers with our customers in mind,” says Don Heller, Bergquist’s vice president of propane technologies. “We’re pleased to offer a new dispenser that provides the look our customers want while promoting the increased use of clean, efficient Propane Autogas.”

Propane Autogas is the most widely used alternative transportation fuel in the world. Propane considerably reduces carbon and other greenhouse gas emissions over traditional fuels. It is consistently priced less than both gasoline and diesel. Furthermore, propane provides a driving range close to 50% higher than natural gas. Over 90% of propane consumed in the United States is produced domestically.

Bergquist Inc. is a national distributor of propane and anhydrous ammonia equipment in the U.S. Headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, Bergquist has regional sales centers in Bowling Green, Ky., Crawfordsville, Ind., Shakopee, Minn., and North Kansas City, Mo.
