Veteran Attendee Wins RV at Seattle Show
The Manufactured Home and Recreational Vehicle Association's (MHRVA) in Washington state reported a near-record attendance for the 50th Annual Seattle RV Show, which took place Feb. 7-10 at CenturyLink Event Center.
This year’s show featured a travel trailer giveaway — a 23-foot Springdale from Keystone RV, valued at $18,995. The name of the winner, Chad Alabe, was drawn from thousands of entrants. Out-going MHRV Association President LaDonna Kummerfeldt presented the keys to the prize (shown in photo at left).
“I have been attending The Seattle RV Show my entire life,” Alabe stated in a news release. “I used to come down with my dad but we never bought anything. I was there again this year and entered my name and the rest is history! I never win ANYTHING and winning this trailer is truly a dream come true. My family will enjoy this gift for many years to come!”
Alabe and his wife have two young children and he was thrilled to find out that the Springdale had a bunk bed floorplan. “I’m sure there will be a competition between my two kids who gets to sleep on the top bunk!”
The mission of the the Seattle RV Show is to promote the RV lifestyle, “Creating Lifetime Memories” with families and friends.
“The Keystone trailer giveway provided additional fun for all who attended this year’s show,” says Dave Helgeson, MHRV show director. “We are extremely excited for Chad and his family and are happy we could help them get started on creating a lifetime of memories.”
The MHRVA consists of manufacturers, dealers and vendor member organizations.
