Ben Carr (left), "top dog: with Red Rover Camping, meets with Patrick Borke and Jeanette Blackburn of Walnut Hills Family Campground in Durand, Mich., one of the many campgrounds that signed up with Red Rover during campground association conferences in March.

Red Rover Camping just completed the “March Madness” of campground association conferences and trade shows, attending the Mid-Atlantic, Ohio, New England, Wisconsin and Michigan conferences.

Top Dog for Red Rover Camping, Ben Carr said in a news release, “Once again we were taken back with how many campground owners and operators commented that Red Rover is ‘a no brainer’ or ‘win/win’ once we were able to spend a few minutes explaining the concept.”

On top of the many campgrounds signing up at the conferences, Carr stated that the response from the recently announced alliance with the Texas Association of Campground Owners (TACO) has been overwhelming. “We anticipated campgrounds to trickle in as the word got out, but our phone and emails fired up immediately after we announced it and has not stopped since.”

“The team at TACO has gone all out to promote the alliance and their effort is certainly making an impact,” said Carr. Since the alliance with TACO was announced several other state associations have contacted Red Rover regarding a similar arrangement and Carr is hoping for many more.
