Real Estate Boom Noted at Las Vegas Resort
Las Vegas has recently re-emerged as a booming market for both residential and commercial real estate. Since 2013, the Las Vegas area and LVM Resort, a Class A motorcoach resort in Las Vegas, have experienced rising real estate sales despite the struggling market across the country, according to a news release.
Throughout the Las Vegas valley, new home builders have been very aggressive, and subdivisions have been popping up with advance reservations on future construction. In a recent article in the Las Vegas Review-Journal, single family resale homes have been experiencing a 30.6% increase in sale price and condos and townhomes have increased 41.9% in sale price. According to the members of the Greater Las Vegas Board of Realtors, buying a home is competitive since the number of available homes without any pending or contingent offers is down 42.1% as of last year.
In the niche world of RVing, LVM Resort is also accelerating at a fast pace in terms of selling RV lots. LVM Resort’s on-site broker, Dean Welsh, commented on the recent boom saying, “We are very optimistic about this market, and its progress is showing in LVM Resort’s record volume of sales. We have made nearly 30 sales since the first of the year, and we fully expect this trend to continue due to the current real estate climate.”
However, residential property is not the only sector experiencing a recent boom. Tourists are flocking to Las Vegas, increasing citywide occupancy to 83.3%, marking a 0.6% increase over 2012’s 82.8%. These recent upturns in the various sectors of the real estate market create the perfect climate to purchase an RV lot at LVM Resort. The purchase is an investment in the promising future of this already iconic city.
