Fans of rowdy Kevin Fowler can not only rock out with hits such as “Hell Yeah I Like Beer” but they also can go with the flow with his latest video.

It's a public service announcement to promote outdoor recreation and encourage people to protect natural resources, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

Take Care of Texas kicked off earlier this month with the release of Fowler's video, a honky-tonking jingle taped on the banks at Guadalupe River State Park where the avid outdoorsman sings the praises of the state.

“Texas has clean air, river and lakes. Let's get outdoors and enjoy 'em,” he says after the catchy song.

“It's what I call an earworm — it gets in your ear and you can't get it out,” he says on the “making of” video at “I think I spent all of 10 seconds on it. It was an easy one to write.”

The public service campaign is a joint venture by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. The website offers ways to conserve water and energy while showing how much money can be saved in the home and garden with an online calculator. Folks taking the pledge will receive a free Texas State Park Guide.
