AGS Extols Its Own Mobile Company Website
Nearly 25% of all website traffic came from mobile devices during the first quarter of 2013, up 78% from the same period a year earlier, according to a published report by Walker Sands Communications, a Chicago-based SEO company.
“We felt this was a logical move for us,” AGS President Brian Schaeffer said of the site at www.agspub.com, which now automatically displays specially formatted content for mobile device users. “We create mobile websites every day for our clients. So we felt it was about time we make our company website mobile as well.”
According to a news release, Texas Advertising, AGS’s parent company, launched its own mobile website for www.TexasAdvertising.net roughly one year ago.
The mobile websites are among the latest developments for both AGS and Texas Advertising, which are experiencing record growth.
AGS specializes in the production of guest guides or site maps, while Texas Advertising offers a full range of advertising and marketing services, including website design, blogging, search engine optimization, analytics and stat tracking through its TXAD Internet Services division.
“2012 was an outstanding year for AGS and we anticipate twice as much growth this year, which will be our best year ever,” Schaeffer said. He said AGS expanded its guest guide business by 65 parks in 2012, which was AGS’s first full year of business following the company’s acquisition by Texas Advertising from Good Sam Enterprises LLC in June 2011.
Texas Advertising has launched, enhanced or redesigned nearly 300 websites since its founding in 1994, though most of its website business has taken place during the past five years with a heavy concentration in the campground business.
Texas Advertising also launched, enhanced or redesigned 48 websites in 2012 through its TXAD Internet Services division, a company record, and 2013 is shaping up to be even busier than last year.
