Campground Targets Recycling for Race Fans

Earhart Campground at Bristol Motor Speedway in northeast Tennessee is participating in the Coors Light recycling campaign and is encouraging race fans and concertgoers to recycle their glass, plastic and aluminum containers.

More than 100 recycling bins have been placed throughout the campground, with additional bags available at the check-in station. Plus, a Toyota Tundra will roam the campground each day to help transport recyclables to the recycling station,, Kingsport, reported.

Also for race week, the campground is continuing its music program for race fans. The Rockin’ and Racin’ time in Bristol, Tenn., at Earhart Campground takes place in the shadow of Bristol Motor Speedway.

Music is free and runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Race fans and the community are welcome.

  • 9:15 p.m. Chris Hennessee

  • 4 p.m. Benton Blount
  • 9:30 p.m. Benny Wilson Band


  • 11 a.m. It’s Miller Time Party Zone
  • 11:30 a.m. Chris Hennessee
  • TBA: Appearance by Brad Keselowski, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.
  • 2 p.m. Twang Bangers
  • 4 p.m. The Wayne Mills Band
