Steve Prouty of Baraboo is a collector of Airstream RVs, a hobby that’s in his blood, WBAY-TV, Green Bay, Wis., reported.

“My grandfather had several Airstreams back in the ’50s, and I’ve got some pictures with him and his 1953 Airstream so I’ve always kind of liked them,”he says.

Tuesday (Sept. 10) Steve added one more to his collection. It’s a pre-production model made in 1947.

A Craigslist find with a price tag of $7,000, Prouty says it has a value, once fixed up, of $100,000.
