A campground project in Black Duck Siding, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, is moving forward for development.

A project to develop a 32-site fully serviced recreational vehicle (RV) camping facility has been released to Dhoon Lodge, according to The Western Star of Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The owner of the property plans to construct and operate the camping facility adjacent to the existing Dhoon Lodge at Black Duck Siding near Harry’s River. The proposed location is about five kilometres east of Stephenville Crossing and 12 kilometres north of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Access to the recreational vehicle resort will be though an existing gravel road, which will be upgraded. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall and conclude in the spring of 2014.
