The Pecan Park Campground along the San Marcos River faced heavy flooding which prompted evacuations Thursday morning (Oct. 31).

Throughout the morning, trucks have been pulling RVs and campers out of the park, with many people saying their vehicles were taking on water before they realized how bad the flooding is, according to a report by Your News Now Austin.

Just a bit west of the campground, the Blanco River rose so high it lapped against the S.H. 80 bridge.

A campground in New Braunfels was also evacuated Thursday morning due to flooding.
