Sunland RV Resorts joined the Movember fundraising efforts running from Nov. 1 through  Nov 30 to raise money for men’s health issues. While money is typically raised by growing mustaches, Sunland RV Resorts is getting everyone involved and donating $1 for each mustached photo shared with the company.

“Movember is a fun month-long event and it’s for a very good cause,” said Oscar Riveros, vice president of marketing at Sunland RV Resorts. “We are excited to participate and get our guests involved, and it’s as simple as snapping a picture.”

Looking for interaction and participation from everyone, the RV resort operator is opening the mustache-focused fundraising to women, children and even pets, as well.

“From real facial hair, to prop mustaches, to drawing it on, we are looking for everyone to submit their pictures and help us reach $1,000,” Riveros said.

Sunland RV Resorts has pledged to donate up to $1,000 to the Movember causes which include prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues. Photos can be submitted via the company’s website contact form at, or guests can head into their RV resort office and get their mustache pictures taken by staff. Photos will be shared on the website and on the company’s Facebook page.
