1.3 Million Lights Adorn Wis. Jellystone
The Wisconsin Christmas Carnival of Lights at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, Wis., continues through Tuesday, Dec. 31.
The Carnival of Lights features 1.3 million lights that are wrapped around the cabins, buildings and more than 500 trees on Jellystone’s campground, the Journal Times of Racine reported.
While in the comfort of their warm vehicles, families take a one-mile tour through the light display, and afterward have the option to stop in Jellystone’s Ranger Station to enjoy hot apple cider, coffee and espresso drinks. Children can also visit with Santa or write him a letter.
The Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Caledonia, Wis., is home to the Wisconsin Carnival of Lights.
Jellystone will donate $1 from each car (up to $4,000) that visits the holiday lights display to Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin.
