Ind. Campground, RV Show Starts Friday
Celebrating its 40th year, the annual Valley RV & Camping Show returns to the Century Center in South Bend, Ind., this weekend.
This is the first Indiana show of 2014 and will feature campground exhibits and an RV parts store.
It will also feature RVs from five of Northern Indiana’s top dealers. Whether you are interested in exploring RVing or are a seasoned camper, there will something for everybody at the show. On display and on sale will be a variety of lightweight to full size travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and motor homes.
The RV industry is enjoying tremendous success with shipment numbers at a six year high. The total for all new units sold in 2013 is projected to rise about 11% from last year to more than 316,000 units when final numbers come in.
Why? “RVing is a fun, flexible and affordable way for families to spend quality time in the outdoors,” said Matt Rose, Director of Recreation Vehicles with Recreation Vehicle Indiana Council. “In addition to vacation travel, owners use RVs for tailgating, travel with pets and to participate in outdoor sports and other leisure activities.”
The 40th Annual Valley RV & Camping show kicks off Friday (Jan. 17) at 10 a.m.
