Mich. RV, Campground Expo Starts Fri.
International RV World announced mid-Michigan’s first Lightweight RV and Campground Expo, taking place Friday (Jan. 24) through Sunday (Jan. 26) at the Bay City Civic Arena, according to a press release.
The event will feature food, raffle prizes, campground information and live music.
The expo will be debuting new lightweight towable RV’s starting at 900 lbs. Attendees will have an opportunity to browse more than 32,000 square feet of towable recreation vehicles from R-pod, Viking, Coachman, XLR, Skycat, Koala, Walkabout and Trail Runner. Manufacturer representatives and banks will all be on site to answer any questions and provide instant financing.
“I am excited to showcase the new lightweight RV’s as they can be towed by a minivan, SUV or half-ton truck. These RV’s can be towed by anyone,” said Bobbie Harvey, owner of International RV World. “With our special show pricing and lightweight RV’s, everyone can enjoy the RV lifestyle.”
Entertainment and a live broadcast from 98 FM KCQ Country will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a raffle to win tickets to see The Band Perry and many more prizes.
The Lightweight RV and Campground Expo will take place Friday noon-8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bay City Civic Arena, 4231 Shrestha Drive. Admission is three non-perishable food items or a cash donation, to be collected by The Good Samaritan Rescue Mission of Bay City.
