Nebraska Boosting State Camping Fees
Increased camping fees at Nebraska park lands are expected to generate $500,000 annually in new revenue for campground improvements, according to the Omaha World-Herald.
Nebraska Game and Parks commissioners on Friday (Jan. 17) unanimously approved a $1 per night increase for camping sites. Sites with electrical hookups will increase $2 per night.
The new fees keep Nebraska in the middle range of camping costs when compared to neighboring states, officials said.
