The Washington Parish (La.) Planning Commission heard a report on a proposed RV site during a meeting Tuesday (Jan. 21), the Daily News of Bogalusa reported.

Director of Public Works Leo Lucchesi spoke late last year to a man who would like to set up an RV park in Bogalusa.

He said he has read through all the documents on the facility and reviewed the plan that has been well designed by Nobles & Associates LLC. He said it appears to be a healthy, viable proposal that follows all guidelines.

Providing the commissioners with maps, site layouts and copies of the regulations on RV parks, Lucchesi said he will recommend to the developer, Doyle Creel, that he go to the city of Bogalusa. If approval is granted there, Lucchesi said Creel will also have the parish OK.
