Camping, RV Show Sees Major Crowd
From big to small and everything in between, the 19th Annual Atlantic City RV and Camping Show was the place to be for those looking to hit the road in style, television station WMGM reported.
“We’re on pace for the record attendance in the 19 years we’ve been doing this show,” said Anthony Tedesco, show manager, on Monday.
And with plenty of foot traffic this President’s Day Weekend, show officials saw the signs of an industry on the rise.
“They’re noticing increases higher end sales, which is great. Campgrounds are setting records right now for reservations so the industry as a whole is really thriving right now,” said Tedesco.
“It’s the most affordable means of vacation. Staying at a campground in an RV, then any other kids of vacation so a lot of people are gravitating to that for that reason,” said Tedesco. “We see young families starting out with it that have kids they want to introduce to it all the way up to retirees just going out on the road and enjoying life.”
