The Mid-Atlantic Coastal States Conference for Campground Owners gets under way March 5-7 at Bally’s Atlantic City Casino Hotel, according to the New Jersey Campground Owners Association (NJCOA).

Campground owners and managers from New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware come together for 2 1/2 days of educational seminars and a trade show. Campground owners from the greater Northeast Region are invited to join their counterparts from New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware at this conference.

Seminar topics include the impact healthcare reform will have on campgrounds; marketing to the multi-cultural community; preparing your campground for sale or the next generation; real communication for media marketing; reduce stress and build teamwork; and many more.

Barb Youmans of the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC) will open the conference highlighting the benefits of ARVC membership and detailing ARVC AdvantEdge, the new benchmark tool ARVC introduced in November for campgrounds to compare their operations to similar campgrounds throughout the United States.

Nan Marchand Beauvois, senior director of national councils for the U.S. Travel Association, will be the keynote speaker at s lunch.

The trade show with more than 30 exhibitors will be open.
