For three decades, from November to March, the Southern Palms RV Resort in Eustis, Fla., has offered Sunday worship service for travelers from all over the U.S. and Canada, the Daily Commercial of Leesburg reported. Washington Park To Get $3.9 million Upgrades

The Tri-City Herald published an editorial supporting Washington’s Crow Butte Park’ s 20-year master plan. The plan’s $3.9 million worth of projects includes a new playground, expanding the popular RV campsite and adding more boat slips. Guests at Hill Country Cottage and RV Resort in New Braunfels, Texas, will soon be able to take a dip into a new outdoor heated swimming pool at the resort, the Herald-Zeitung reported. Campground Opens Mid-April, Plans Lottery

Miller Riverview Campground will open for the season Tuesday, April 15, weather and river level permitting, the Dubuque (Iowa) Telegraph Herald reported. A lottery will be used to determine reservations for Memorial Day, Labor Day and July 4. Volunteers Clean Public Marine Campground

Kayakers from across Puget Sound gathered at Blake Island State Park on March 22 to restore one of the few marine campgrounds left in Kitsap County, Wash., the Kitsap Sun reported. Doug Mulvaney, director of facilities development for Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA), has been named chairman of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Recreational Vehicle Committee. This committee is responsible for the revisions to two standards documents, NFPA 1192, and NFPA 1194.
