Campers Support Wounded Warriors
The Havasu (Ariz.) News-Herald highlighted the efforts of Crazy Horse Campground residents to help injured servicemen and -women.
In a photo from Friday, March 7, the news organization showed Judy Prusky and Doreen Daggett preparing a quilt on a prize table for an appreciation luncheon at Crazy Horse Campground.
The hanging quilts soon will be finished with binding and then sent to hospitals in Afghanistan and Iraq to support the Wounded Warrior Project. About 20 women sewed the quilts during a period of five months at Crazy Horse campground.
